How to Earn XP

Every way to level up, and none of them depend on spending

  • Enter a competition+100 XPEach different competition you enter, by card, with credit or free by post.
  • Confirm your email+50 XPOnce, when your account is confirmed.
  • Add a profile picture+25 XPOnce, from your account settings.
  • Refer a friend+75 XPEach friend who joins with your link, up to 10.
  • Win a prize+200 XPEvery win, plus more when you verify your ID to claim it.
  • Stay a member+10 XPEvery full month, up to 24 months.

XP never depends on how much you spend. A free postal entry earns exactly the same as a card entry, and buying more tickets for the same competition earns nothing extra.

Rewards Questions

Do you have a rewards programme?

Yes. Rewards gives you XP for taking part, never for how much you spend. Entering a competition earns the same XP whichever way you enter, so a free postal entry counts exactly like a paid one, however many tickets you choose. Climb ten levels from Newcomer to Icon and collect 13 badges along the way. Your level and badges are under Rewards in your account.

Do I have to spend money to level up?

No. XP comes from taking part: entering competitions, confirming your email, adding a profile picture, referring friends, winning and staying a member. A free postal entry earns the same 100 XP as a card entry, and extra tickets in a competition you have already entered earn nothing more.

Do I need an account to earn XP?

Yes. Rewards are tracked on your free Odds Up account. Card entries are made while signed in, and a free postal entry is matched to your account by the registered email address on your postcard, so both count. Your level, XP and badges are under Rewards in your dashboard.

What happens to my rewards if I take a break?

While a break or self-exclusion is active, levels, badges and rewards are paused. Everything you have earned is kept and is waiting for you when it ends.
