1. Introduction
Welcome to Odds Up. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and participation in our prize competitions. By accessing our site and purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Odds Up is operated by Odds Up Ltd in the United Kingdom and all competitions are subject to UK law.
2. Eligibility
Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to participate.
Location: Open to UK residents only.
Account: You may only create one account per person.
Verification: We reserve the right to request ID verification for winners before prize delivery.
3. How Competitions Work
Ticket Purchase: Tickets can be purchased via our website using Stripe payment processing.
Ticket Limit: Each competition has a maximum number of tickets available.
Draw Timing: When all tickets are sold, a 1-hour countdown begins before the automated draw.
Expiration: If a competition does not sell out within 30 days, all participants will receive a full refund.
4. Free Entry Options
We offer two ways to enter competitions without payment:
Option 1: Instant Free Competitions
Some competitions are marked as "Free Entry" and require no purchase whatsoever. These competitions:
- Display a green "FREE ENTRY" badge
- Allow instant entry with no admin approval required
- Have a set entry limit per user (you receive all your allowed entries at once)
- Give you the same chance of winning as any other ticket holder
How to enter: Log in to your account and click "Enter Now" on any free competition. Your entries are registered immediately.
Option 2: Postal Free Entry Route (Paid Competitions)
To comply with UK competition regulations, we offer a postal free entry route for paid competitions. You may claim one free postal entry per competition. Each postcard must be for a single competition only.
To enter by post, you must have a registered account and include your full legal name (as registered), your registered email address, and the full competition name. Entries must be clearly written or typed; unclear or incomplete entries may be invalid.
Note: Your free postal entry counts towards the maximum ticket limit for that competition. If you have already reached the maximum number of tickets allowed (through paid purchases), you will not be eligible for an additional free entry.

Important: Both free entry options give you the same chance of winning as paid entries.
5. Winner Selection
Random Selection: Winners are selected using cryptographically secure random selection.
Transparency: All draws are recorded with timestamps and audit trails.
Notification: Winners are notified via email and displayed on our website.
Fair Draw: The selection process cannot be manipulated by anyone, including Odds Up staff.
6. Prize Claiming
Claim Period: Winners have 48 hours from notification to claim their prize via their dashboard.
How to Claim: Winners must log into their account and claim through the dashboard. Physical prizes require shipping address; digital prizes require confirmation only.
Unclaimed Prizes: If a winner does not claim within 48 hours, we will conduct a redraw to select an alternate winner from the remaining ticket holders.
Non-Transferable: Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
ID Verification Requirement
All winners must complete ID verification before prize delivery. This is mandatory under UK law to verify age (18+) and prevent fraud.
Accepted: UK Passport or UK Driving Licence
Upload: Maximum 3 files, 10MB each (PDF, JPG, PNG)
Review: 24-48 hours
Privacy: Documents auto-deleted 7 days after verification
Physical Prizes: Dispatched via tracked courier within 24-48 hours of ID verification. UK delivery takes 2-5 business days.
Digital Prizes: Delivered instantly via email after ID verification.
7. Refund Policy
Unsold Competitions: Full refunds issued if competition doesn't sell out within 30 days.
Cancelled Competitions: Full refunds if we cancel a competition for any reason.
No Buyer Remorse: Tickets cannot be refunded once purchased, except in the cases above.
Processing Time: Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
8. Payment & Security
Payment Processor: All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Accepted Methods: Debit/credit cards, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Revolut Pay, and Pay By Bank.
Security: Your payment information is never stored on our servers.
Pricing: All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Failed Payments: Tickets are only issued upon successful payment confirmation.
9. User Conduct
Users must not:
- Use bots or automated systems to purchase tickets
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent purchase limits
- Use fraudulent payment methods
- Attempt to manipulate or interfere with the draw process
- Harass other users or Odds Up staff
Ticket Removal Policy
Violation of these rules may result in immediate ticket removal and account suspension. If tickets are removed from a competition:
- You will be notified by email with the reason for removal
- Refunds may be withheld in cases of fraud or abuse
- You will be blocked from re-entering that specific competition
- Repeat offences may result in permanent account suspension
10. Liability & Disclaimers
Prize Condition: Prizes are provided "as is" and we are not responsible for manufacturer defects.
Service Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website.
Third Parties: We are not responsible for third-party services (payment processors, couriers, etc.).
Limitation: Our liability is limited to the value of tickets purchased.
11. Referral Programme
Our referral programme rewards you for inviting friends to Odds Up.
How It Works
- Share your unique referral link with friends (found in your dashboard)
- When a friend signs up using your link and creates an account, you both receive a free entry reward
- Use your reward to enter any paid competition for free
Reward Value: Each referral reward grants one free ticket entry to any paid competition of your choice.
Reward Expiration: Referral rewards never expire and can be used at any time.
One Per Referral: You receive one reward per successful referral. Your referred friend also receives one reward.
Account Required: The referred person must create a valid account and verify their email to complete the referral.
Restrictions
- No self-referral: You cannot refer yourself or create multiple accounts to earn rewards
- One referral per person: Each person can only be referred once
- Ticket limits apply: Referral rewards count towards the maximum tickets per person for a competition
- Non-transferable: Referral rewards cannot be transferred to other users or exchanged for cash
- Abuse prevention: We reserve the right to void rewards obtained through fraudulent means
12. Privacy & Data
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to data processing as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Responsible Gaming
While Odds Up is not classified as gambling, we encourage responsible participation:
- Only spend what you can afford
- Set personal limits on purchases
- Seek support if you feel your participation is problematic

14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users. You may be required to review and accept updated terms before purchasing tickets, entering competitions, or accessing your dashboard.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
