Odds Up Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Odds Up. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and participation in our prize competitions. By accessing our site and purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Age requirement

You must be 18 years or older to participate.

Location

Open to UK residents only.

Account

You may only create one account per person.

Verification

We reserve the right to request ID verification for winners before prize delivery.

Ticket purchase

Tickets can be purchased via our website using Stripe payment processing.

Ticket limit

Each competition has a maximum number of tickets available, and a maximum number of tickets allowed per user.

Bulk discounts

Some paid competitions offer optional tiered discounts on larger orders (for example, 5+ tickets at 5% off). When available, tiers are shown on the competition page and the discounted total is applied automatically at checkout. Discounted tickets have the same chance of winning. Bulk discounts do not stack with referral rewards or promotional codes; the best available discount is applied. The order confirmation and payment record reflect the actual discounted amount paid.

Sell-out draw timing

When all tickets are sold, a 1-hour countdown begins before the automated draw.

Competition deadline

Some competitions include a specific closing date and time shown on the competition page. Once that deadline is reached, new entries are not accepted.

Deadline outcome

If a competition reaches its deadline before selling out, we may either proceed to a draw from valid entries or cancel and issue refunds. The selected outcome is managed by our admin team and recorded in our audit logs.

We offer two ways to enter competitions without payment:

Important: Both free entry options give you the same chance of winning as paid entries.

Random selection

Winners are selected using cryptographically secure random selection.

Transparency

All draws are recorded with timestamps and audit trails.

Notification

Winners are notified by email and through their account where applicable.

Public results

For transparency, draw results may be shown on our website. Public winner displays use limited information such as first name and competition details unless we separately agree something more specific with the winner.

Fair draw

The selection process cannot be manipulated by anyone, including Odds Up staff.

Claim period

Winners have 48 hours from notification to claim their prize via their dashboard.

How to claim

Winners must log into their account and claim through the dashboard. Physical prizes require shipping address; digital prizes require confirmation only.

Unclaimed prizes

If a winner does not claim within 48 hours, we will conduct a redraw to select an alternate winner from the remaining ticket holders.

Non-transferable

Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.

Physical prizes

Dispatched via tracked courier within 24-48 hours of ID verification. UK delivery takes 2-5 business days.

Digital prizes

Delivered instantly via email after ID verification.

Contract formation

For paid entries, your order is confirmed once checkout is successfully completed and we issue your entry confirmation.

Deadline or admin cancellation

Full refunds are issued where a competition is cancelled, including where we choose not to draw a winner after a deadline has been reached. Refunds are based on the actual amount paid for the affected order after any discount, not the undiscounted ticket face value.

Unavailable entry route

If entry is closed due to deadline or cancellation, no further entries can be purchased or claimed.

Cancelled competitions

Full refunds if we cancel a competition for any reason.

Partial ticket removal

If we remove only some tickets from an order and a refund is due, the refund is calculated from the actual charged per-ticket amount for that order. For example, tickets bought as part of a discounted bulk order or with a promotional code are refunded at the discounted per-ticket amount actually paid.

No buyer remorse

Paid entries are for participation in a time-limited competition and are generally not refundable after purchase unless required by law or expressly stated in these terms.

Processing time

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Payment processor

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Accepted methods

Debit/credit cards, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Revolut Pay, and Pay By Bank.

Security

Your payment information is never stored on our servers.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Failed payments

Tickets are only issued upon successful payment confirmation.

Users must not:

• Use bots or automated systems to purchase tickets
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent purchase limits
• Use fraudulent payment methods
• Attempt to manipulate or interfere with the draw process
• Harass other users or Odds Up staff

Prize condition

Where a prize includes manufacturer or retailer warranties, those remain subject to the terms offered by that manufacturer or retailer.

Service availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website.

Third parties

We use third-party providers such as payment processors, couriers, hosting, and email services. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by those providers where we have acted with reasonable care in selecting and using them.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer law, or our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

Our referral programme rewards you for inviting friends to Odds Up.

How it works

• Share your unique referral link with friends (found in your dashboard)
• When a friend signs up using your link and creates an account, you both receive a free entry reward
• Use your reward to enter any paid competition for free

Reward value

Each referral reward grants one free ticket entry to any paid competition of your choice.

No discount stacking

Referral rewards are redeemed as a separate free ticket and do not combine with bulk ticket discounts, promotional codes, or other offers in a paid checkout.

Reward expiration

Referral rewards never expire and can be used at any time.

One per referral

You receive one reward per successful referral. Your referred friend also receives one reward.

Account required

The referred person must create a valid account and verify their email to complete the referral.

We may issue promotional codes to support marketing campaigns, recognise our community, or apologise for service issues. Each code is configured with a discount type, eligibility window, and usage limits.

How they work

• Percentage off or fixed amount off codes apply at checkout to reduce the total you pay
• Free-entry codes mint a single £0 ticket without payment, similar to a referral reward
• Each code is only valid while it is active and within any start/expiry window we set

Usage limits

Codes have a global usage cap and a per-user limit (typically once per user). Attempts beyond either limit will be rejected automatically.

Scope

Some codes are valid across all paid competitions, others are limited to specific competitions and will only redeem on those.

No discount stacking

Promotional codes do not combine with bulk ticket discounts or referral rewards. Where more than one discount could apply, the better one is used.

Free-entry codes

Free-entry codes count towards the maximum tickets per user for a competition, can only be used on paid competitions, and cannot be redeemed once a competition has sold out or its deadline has passed.

Non-transferable

Promotional codes cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash. We may withdraw or change codes at any time before redemption; redemptions already completed are not affected.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Accepting the Cookie Policy acknowledges how we explain our use of cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies remain subject to your separate cookie choices.

While Odds Up is not classified as gambling, we encourage responsible participation:

• Only spend what you can afford
• Set personal limits on purchases
• Seek support if you feel your participation is problematic

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
