Responsible Gaming

Our Commitment
While Odds Up is not classified as gambling, we recognise that any form of prize competition should be enjoyed responsibly. We're committed to providing a safe, transparent, and fair platform for all users.
This page provides guidance on healthy participation and support resources if you need help.
Key Principles
Spend Within Your Means
Only spend money you can afford to lose. Treat competitions as entertainment, not a way to make money.
Set Time Limits
Don't let competitions dominate your time. Set limits and take regular breaks from browsing and entering.
Keep It Fun
Competitions should be enjoyable. If you find yourself stressed, frustrated, or chasing losses, take a step back.
Know the Signs
Be aware of problematic behaviours and seek help early if you're concerned about your participation.
Warning Signs to Watch For
If you notice any of these behaviours in yourself or someone you know, it may be time to seek support:
- Spending more money than you can afford on competitions
- Neglecting responsibilities to participate in competitions
- Lying to friends or family about your spending
- Feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed about competitions
- Trying to "win back" money by entering more competitions
- Borrowing money to enter competitions
Self-Help Tools
Set Personal Limits
Before you start, decide on:
- A monthly spending budget you can afford
- Maximum time per day/week browsing competitions
- A rule to walk away after a certain number of entries
Take Regular Breaks
If you feel your participation is becoming excessive, take a break. Step away for a week or month to reset your perspective. You can contact us to temporarily suspend your account.
Talk to Someone
Share your concerns with a trusted friend or family member. Sometimes an outside perspective can help you recognise if there's a problem.
